金継ぎユニット「TSUGIMO」との協働プロジェクト。
製作の途中、焼成過程で入ってしまったヒビや割れを「自然が作り上げたデザイン」と捉え直し、従来は失敗とされ、破棄されていた器を「金継ぎ」によって新たな価値ある作品へ昇華。道具土の跡も漆で塗りデザインの一部となる。
This is a collaborative project with the Kintsugi unit “TSUGIMO.” Cracks and breaks that appear during the firing process are reinterpreted as “designs created by nature,” and vessels that would previously have been deemed failures and discarded are transformed into new, valuable works through Kintsugi. Traces of clay from the tool are even painted over with lacquer, becoming part of the design.
